At Summit Pet Care, we know exactly what your dog needs to be happy and comfortable while you're away! Your dog is special to us, and we’ll do everything possible to ensure they’re having just as much fun (if not more) than you. They’ll love their home away from home, enjoying every moment in their second home.
A SAMPLE DAILY SCHEDULE:
6:45am-8:00am:
Outside to potty, inside to eat breakfast and take any medications, and a 1 hour rest break after food to prevent bloat, and then back outside to start playtime.
8:00am-12:00pm:
Playtime inside and outside, moving around between rooms and yards at the dog's preference. Dogs play with who they like, not necessarily dogs their age or size.
12:00-1:00:
Lunchtime for those that eat lunch and receiving any noon medications and a bloat prevention break for those that ate lunch. Playtime continues for dogs that do not eat lunch.
1:00-3:00:
Playtime inside and outside, moving around between rooms and yards at the dog's preference.
4:00-5:00:
We start dinner early for adequate digestion time, and we take a 1 hour break for bloat prevention. Some dogs eat earlier or later depending on their individual needs.
5:00-6:00
Playtime inside and outside, moving around between rooms and yards at the dog's preference. Evening medications are administered. Most dogs are pretty exhausted by 5:00.
6:00pm-6:45am:
Rest time with potty breaks. Dogs sleep in their own space overnight for safety- no in the dark scary surprises.
Dog schedules can be adjusted for individual needs. Just let us know how we can serve them better!
